International Outstanding/ Early Stage Researcher Positions funded through TÜBİTAK Schemes at Izmir Institute of Technology, Türkiye
As Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), we are delighted to host accomplished international outstanding and early-stage researchers who can visit our Institute through a competitive TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Research Council of Türkiye) funding program. TÜBİTAK carries out the program 2232-A/B to encourage successful researchers, particularly Turkish scientists who have working experience in international institutions, to come to Türkiye to conduct high-level scientific and/or technological studies in their fields in areas with strategic value for Türkiye.

2232 – A: International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers
2232 – B: International Early Stage Researchers Program
Scope of the Grant:
The program will include:
1. Scholarship for the coordinator,
2. Family allowance (if applicable),
3. Initial research grant,
4. Research project grant,
5. Scholarships intended for establishing a research team (including scholarships for up to 5 graduate students and post-doctoral researchers)
6. Project Incentive Bonus for researchers involved within the scope of the research project,
7. Institutional share allowance for the host institution,
8. Health insurance for the coordinator and his/her family,
9. Travel allowance for the coordinator and his/her family,
10. Mentoring Support.
Additional benefits offered by IZTECH will include:
1. Office and lab space for the researcher and the team
2. Extra credits for scientific experiments from the Integrated Research Centers laboratories

Duration:
Fellowship period is minimum 24 months and maximum 36 months.
